NBA locked out, NFL locked up!

First things first, sorry for the wait. Here we go again sports fans, another lockout. Just when we thought that things would go back to normal. You know, the NBA and the NFL all weekend long, here we go again. The NBA lockout seems to be a little bit more difficult to fix.We the fans think that a bunch of spoiled millionaires and billionaires should be able to fix simple financial problems. "You think." So let us just embrace the thought of no Lakers vs Heat, no Celtics vs Bulls, no uncle Bob telling me how Lebron is better than Kobe. At least we still have football on Thanksgiving. Which by the way is going to finally be interesting. Because this year we have the Packers verses the Lions. Yes!Yes! You heard me right. For the first since..well since for as long as I can remember the Lions are finally worth watching. Thanks to Megatron aka Calvin Johnson the Lions are a good team. Some sports writers seem to think they may be the only team to beat the Packers this season. But not me.

It's week nine and the 2011 Super Bowl Champions Greenbay Packers are looking like the soon to be 2012 Super Bowl Champions. The Packers are undefeated and looking good and the Pittsburgh Steelers  are starting to play like that team that made it to the big game last year. If things stay the same we could be seeing a repeat of last year's Super Bowl. I hope I'm wrong about that one. I would love to see the Falcon's battle the Steelers for the championship, but that's just wishful thinking. The falcons do have in my opinion a fairly lite schedule remaining, compared to the first five games of the season. Let's wait to see what happens next football fans.

JUST PAY THE PLAYERS!

JUST PAY THE PLAYERS!

What is it about paying your existing  players that is so hard to do. I mean do we not remember what a difference these players make. Did you somehow forget how much better the Tennessee Titans are with Chris Johnson. I wonder how many games the Philadelphia Eagles would have won last year without DeSean Jackson. There are so many more players that just want to get payed for what they are worth. This sounds very fair to me because if that same player under achieves, or gets injured he will be cut.
Let me go in a little deeper for those people out there who have been living under a rock, and think that a NFL players have no worries. Did you know that a NFL player who has a $90million contract can be cut without question, and is entitled to none of that $90million that is not specified as guaranteed? I know there are going to be people out there who say a contract is a contract. And I say…. WHATEVER! Really is it fair that DeSean Jackson has to beg the Eagles for a new contract. Then the Eagles turn around and sign an injured Steve Smith from the Giants. So Smith along with most of the leagues wide receivers will make more money than Deshun Jackson this year. Oh I’m sorry; I forgot to mention that Jackson went to the Pro Bowl this past season. Which makes him one of the NFC’s elite receivers in every category except pay.

What is wrong with Tiger?

I'm just saying... what in the hell is wrong with Tiger Woods. Maybe I should say; what is wrong with his golf game. Yes he is great, yes he is a legend, and yes he will go to the hall of fame as one of the greatest golfer ever to play this game. Now saying all of that; i must say that not making the cut this weekend was very disappointing for me. Tiger must be under a spell of some sort. I just cant believe that he would allow outside distractions to interfere with his game. If I could have a word with him I might be encouraged to tell him about greatness. I would say to Tiger  that being great means that being average is totally unacceptable. For example when Tiger was king, there was this look on his face like" I'm not from this planet". Tiger know reminds me of Superman after he was stripped of his power and made human. So I blame you Lois Lane.

Learn how to pick a favorite team

First I will start by saying there is no wrong way to pick your team. Team can be picked from things as small as “I like their uniform colors”. Teams also can be inherited from fathers to sons. I think the most common way to select a team is residence. That’s how the real sports fanatics do it. And it sounds like this.. “Hey man! I was born in Boston so I’m a die-hard Patroits fan”. But me, I’m a real fan of my team. And there is a real reason why I say this. Being that my team has yet to win a championship and I still love and represent them; makes me a true die hard fan. Shouts out to Bruce Willis.

Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl!

It's almost like we are watching the season go by backwards.  The  Eagles win the super bowl without playing a single game. And it's not just Eagle fans... everyone is in on it. Every since the Nnamdi Asumugha acquisition, the trading of Kevin Kolb for Dominque Roger-Cromartie , a pro bowl corner back and the return of super Vick. The Philadelphia Eagles are unstoppable, and of course the fans are unbearable. Barbershops all across America have to hear the non-stop barking and yelling, about the "Bounty Hunters of the NFC East". As they are referred to by Ace; a master barber/Eagle fanatic.

I guess what I'm trying to say is " wake up". No one predicted that the Green Bay Packers would win the Super bowl last year, but they did. Just for the records I like the new look Eagles. I look forward to playing them in week two [eagles vs falcons]. I do plan on winning this game to prove to the world or at lease to football fans that the Falcons are for real. It will be a challenge to move the ball down the field on two, maybe three all-star cornerbacks. So how far do the Eagles go? That  is the million dollar question to be answered.

Lets talk Mike Vick if you will. Vick is a winner; no doubt, but is he a champion? These are some questions that will have to be answered in the near future. We know what he potential is, but does he know? and will he every reach it? In my eyes the only way that Vick gets the respect that he deserves is to win the super bowl. Winning the Super Bowl is the only thing that will insure Vick that bronze sculpture in Canton Ohio.[ Hall of Fame] But first lets just play one game before we order champagne or crowd the downtown streets for a parade.

You can only have one team!!!

Wow! It's amazing how many "so-called" sports fans carry more than one team. I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! Take your lost like a man, or women... because you know women are the most multiple team having people in the world. For example "I like the Bears and the Colts and the Ravens." But men violate way to often also; just mostly in the playoffs. I Love the Atlanta Falcons personally. The soon to be super bowl champion Falcons. I know, I know. I'm just saying..... PICK ONE TEAM.
